Datuk T wants to surrender sex video to public commission

Datuk T, the mysterious man who exposed an explosive sex video implicating Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, has decided to surrender the footage to a public commission.

Datuk T called on the media fraternity and non-government organisations to join forces to form a public commission to be the jury and judge to ascertain the authenticity of the recording.

"I will surrender the original recording once the public commission is set up," he said, adding the commission could engage forensic experts from any country to ascertain the authenticity of the video.

Datuk T said he had decided to surrender the video to a public commission as he was of the opinion that Anwar and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail were not interested in viewing the footage next Monday.

"My initial plan was to hand over a copy to Anwar and his wife so that they can ascertain the identity of the man in the video.

"But, as Anwar has now lodged a police report, I assume that he is not interested in receiving a copy of the video," he said.

Datuk T said this in response to a police report lodged by Anwar denying he is the man in the sex video.

Datuk T said he did not want to surrender the original recording to the police as Anwar had a tendency to accuse the authorities of conspiracy if the outcome of investigation did not favour him.

"I want the public to be the judge and jury.

"It is high time the world knew the truth about Anwar," he said.

Datuk T also said he would hand over Anwar's Omega watch that was found in the room where the sex video was allegedly recorded.

"Let the commission engage forensic experts verify if DNA traces found on the watch matches Anwar's."

He said this in response to Anwar's claim that the watch was with his wife. Thestar.
